Oral Therapy
Oral health therapists are dental professionals who have completed training at university and are qualified in dental therapy and dental hygiene. They can provide a wide range of dental care to children, adolescents and adults. Due to their training, oral health therapists are equipped to work alongside dentists on a range of preventive and restorative procedures such as exams, cleans, fillings, deciduous tooth extractions, fissure sealants, gum health care and teeth whitening (both in-chair and take-home kits).
Myotherapy
Myofunctional therapy (Myotherapy) is a program of exercises to help restore normal strength and co-ordination of the muscles of the face and tongue.
This is important to ensure optimal functions such as breathing, chewing, swallowing and speaking clearly.
In children, myotherapy can assist with developing proper functional patterns for life. Poor functional patterns such as open mouth breathing, low tongue posture and tongue thrusts, bottle feeding, sucking habits, sippy cups and restricted tongue ties, lack of chewing or low muscle tone all restrict facial development.
Underdevelopment of the jaws and face has been linked to crooked teeth, and sleep breathing disorders. This non-invasive option offers greater potential to change a child’s trajectory of facial growth and minimise potential problems.
In adults, this therapy can be useful for those suffering with TMD (temporomandibular joint dysfunction) or jaw muscle pain, some head and neck aches and those with obstructive sleep apnoea to name just a few. It helps to address root causes of problems, not just the symptoms.

Teeth whitening involves breaking down tooth discolouration so that your teeth look whiter. Whether the process will work for you depends largely on the cause of your discolouration.

EMS Airflow Cleaning System
Gentle & efficient teeth cleaning
Maintaining high standards of oral health is important for the long term outcomes of the teeth and gums, and we understand that at times having your teeth cleaned can be an uncomfortable process. That’s why we have introduced the EMS airflow, an advanced system that uses guided biofilm technology (GBT) for a gentler and more efficient clean.
By applying a coloured dye to the teeth prior to beginning the clean, we can identify all areas where plaque is present, whilst also providing techniques to improve brushing at home to reduce the amount of plaque that accumulates. The combination of air, water and powder with the EMS airflow effectively removes plaque from all surfaces of the teeth and gum lines, stubborn stains and even early deposits of calculus.
Dental Implants

Dental implants are designed to replace a missing tooth or a series of missing teeth. They are an alternative to a bridge or a fixed denture. Adult teeth may be lost in any number of ways, including accidental trauma, infection or poor health of the surrounding gums.
